Allyn & Christopher | Destination Wedding in Germany

Allow me to introduce this sweet couple, Allyn & Christopher. It literally felt like a fairy tale when Allyn asked me to capture the magic of their destination wedding in Germany! I first met Allyn back in Washington D.C. after she was crowned Miss District of Colombia and I was shooting her for the cover of Annapolis Lifestyle Magazine.

Allyn & Christopher are the most amazing, sweet, intelligent couple. They planned a wildly romantic wedding at Schloss Miel in Germany complete with blush tones and organic greenery straight out of a storybook dream with the castle as the centerpiece. Germany is where Allyn met Christopher in a bar on a 2 day spontaneous trip with her best friend. "We ended up spending both nights out on the town together and shared a magical kiss," and that was the beginning of their 'happily ever after!'

The romantic French chateau theme of their wedding was accented with blush bridesmaids gowns and stunning pink and white flowers that looked over the pond and gardens. Their ceremony was held in the Biergarten, surrounded by friends and family from all over the world. Their vows were spoken under a peony covered wedding arch handmade by Christopher. Allyn looked stunning in a gorgeous one of a kind gown custom made by Cherri Hill!

Susan & Jake | Miami Wedding

This classic + romantic Miami wedding is one for the books! This isn's the first time I have had beautiful bride Susan in front of the camera. I first met Susan in my multi media class in high school when we produced the morning anouncments. I faintly remember her and Jake dating and going to homecoming together many moons ago. I was so excited when I learned they randomly reconnected one night after college. It had been years since seeing each other and sparks flew. And well... the sparks kept flying!!!

Florida Engagement Photography | Michelle & Mike

I was beyond honored when Michelle asked me to be her wedding photographer! I had the pleasure of knowing Michelle since I was 12, (her sister is my BFF) and a decade later I get to photograph her big day! Michelle and Mike are such a unique couple with a quirky, cute, fun vibe. They had this awesome idea to do their engagement photos at the library. Being from Boca, I’d never shot at this library and thought it was an amazing idea!

Wedding Film | Julia & Shawn

When my team had the chance to film Julia and Shawn's wedding, it was like being rustic chic barn in the middle of a magical forest!  It was a lush green location with dinner and dancing in a rustic barn; everything they could have asked for. Here’s a look into their special day!

From the Groom- how he proposed:

In Julia's classroom with kids holding roses and letters spelling "Will You Marry Me?". Then I sang her a song from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, ending with me dropping to a knee to propose.

Wedding Photography | Diana & Tim

Diana and Tim held their sweet and elegant wedding at the always enchanting Historic Londontown in Edgwater, MD. The classic architecture and pristine lush green venue laid the foundation for an idyllic garden party affair and the every detail followed suit.

Diana was a classic beauty in her Maggie Sottero gown and a simple yet elegant updo let her natural and radiant beauty shine. Pops of pink and gold could be found in details throughout the day including beautiful hand painted signs, ceremony details, and gorgeous bouquets made by Diana herself.

During their reception, the couple surprised the guests with a beautiful dance that had Diana swirling in the air. And as the evening drew to an end the sun set over the water - a perfect end to a perfect wedding day!

Shout out to these talented wedding vendors!

Wedding Photography | Brittany & Brad

Happy Wedding Wednesday! As I prepare to kick off "busy season" starting with a trip up to Maryland, I am reminded how much I love the Eastern Shore. Brad and Brittany's wedding took place in the cutest little town of St. Michaels, Maryland. You need to go if you haven't been. It was a day full of big smiles and a romantic setting on the Miles River. The ceremony was led by Brittany's very own brother and took place as the sun started to set. I couldn't get over how cute these two were as they danced the night away under the stars!

For the love of pizza! A few words from the beautiful bride...

How did you and Brad meet?

BB-  We met at the University of Maryland. Brad was setting up a cheerleading competition and I was working it since I was a UMD Cheerleader. I went up to Brad and asked, "Are you Mr. Brainer's son?" We talked, ate pizza together (should have known it was true love then) and about 3 years later he asked me on a date.

How did he propose?

BB- We ate dinner at Tony's (pizza, of course), then walked the beach in Ocean City until we were in front of my childhood condo on first street. Brad dropped my ring in the sand, panicked a little, then standing on two feet with the box closed and in my face he asked, "Will you be my wifey?"  Wouldn't have wanted it any other way :)

Wedding Film | Allison & Jake

This waterfront wedding absolutely takes my breath away! When I was 8 years old I fell in love with the art of film. This past year I have extended my services to wedding videos. I cant tell you how emotional it is to watch and relive the day through this media. I love when you can see a couple’s love shine through the camera, you can see Jakes sweet look as he watches his soon to be bride Allison walking down the aisle!

Wedding Photography | Alex & Jake

When Alex contacted me to photograph her wedding I was thrilled and honored because  this family holds a special place in my heart. Not too long ago I was photographing her sister Mia's wedding!

When Jake proposed to Alex he have her a beautiful diamond that has been in his family since the 1930s. They picked out this beautiful rose gold setting together.

Alex and Jake got married in the backyard of Alex's grandfathers home. A place that means a lot to them with beautiful views all around.

Dress by Justin Alexander at Melange Bridal...One word: stunning!

Engagement Photography | Diana & Tim

Can I just say how sweet this engagement shoot was?! When Tim first laid eyes on Diana she was working at an ice cream shop in Ocean City for the summer. Tim went back to the shop and asked her out on a date... the rest is history!

DC Wedding | Nadine & Mark

How beautiful is this bride? I was so honored when Nadine, a model I have worked with in the past, asked me to photograph her wedding! It was a beautiful day filled with so much love and beauty. Family and friends flew in from all over the world to witness at Tudor Place in Georgetown D.C. Her hubby Mark is absolutely adorable. When I asked how he "popped the question" Nadine responded with this:

He proposed on his birthday! I cooked him a beautiful meal at home, and, even though he hates birthday cake and birthday fanfare/attention, I surprised him with a little cake. As he was about to blow out the candle, he asked, "Can I tell you my wish?" I said, "No, you can't tell me your wish, or else it won't come true." He responded, "Well uh, can I tell you anyway?" We went back and forth like this until he finally said, "You have some say in it." Then he presented the ring, asked me to marry him, and my mouth hit the floor.

Always love working with the talented hair and makeup artist, Sara of Infinity Artistry

How cute is this tourist snapping a pic of the bride?

All these beautiful flower arrangements were made by the bride herself. Her handsome groom is sporting a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, Dunhill cufflinks & stud set; Hugo Boss Shirt. What a stud!

Wishing these two a haplily ever after...
