Angelique St. Croix sarongs are completely handmade using a special technique that employs the ancient art of Indonesian batik. Each sarong takes our skilled balinese artisans a minimum of 7 days to produce from start to finish. All of our sarongs are proudly made under ethical working conditions by skilled artisans on the beautiful island of Bali. Because each and every garment is handmade from start to finish, no two pieces are completely identical but we do our very best to ensure that they are perfect nonetheless. 

The Cloud design I have been trying to get right for years and feel like I finally nailed it with this sarong. On one side of the sarong the clouds are painted colorful sunset colors. Like many of my other sarongs, I like to make the left side different from the right side so that there are two different looks in one sarong. The colorful clouds transition towards the middle to gold and eventually to shades of silver on the opposite side. The backdrop is a stunning ombre sky that is carefully hand blended from silver at the top to aqua to light blue to periwinkle along the bottom. Both sides are utterly gorgeous. 

We believe that our sarongs are so much more than just a beach accessory. They are designed to be worn in the real world. Style it with any of our silk tops for effortless elegance or dress it down in one of our cotton Valentina Tops for a more casual look.

Sizing note: The standard size on this sarong was made to fit a range of sizes at 205 centimeters in width. We also produced a wider size in very limited quantities that measures 220 cm.

Garment details: Hand painted 100% satin silk

Care Instructions: Hand painted in non-toxic dyes. Hand wash in cold water, air dry. All of our fabric is boiled twice to ensure there is no further shrinkage or color loss after it goes home with you.
